Liam Hemsworth has yet to comment on fiancee Miley Cyrus' controversial few weeks, not only did she publicly twerk and gyrate on Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards hitting headlines across the globe, but she's also appeared butt naked in new video Wrecking Ball, leading to allegations the couple are on the rocks. Despite claims the Aussie hunk was "mortified" by her behaviour at the VMAs, insiders have insisted that the Hunger Games star's silence has nothing to do with him "disapproving" of his girlfriend's racy new image - he just wants to keep their relationship private. “He is very proud that she is doing the thing that she loves and he supports her, he just doesn’t broadcast it with a parade for the whole world to see,” a source told HollywoodLife. “He likes being private with her and their relationship, whereas she doesn’t. But you know what they say — opposites attract!”
The source goes on to claim that Liam isn't bothered by the We Can't Stop star's antics in her latest video. “He can’t really control what she does and this video is another way he’s letting her do what she wants to do because it’s not affecting him or his career — it is all on Miley,” the source added.
Whether the couple are or aren't on the rocks, they definietly haven't had any time together in recent weeks due to their busy schedules. Miley is currently in the UK promoting her new record Bangerz, due out in October, while Liam was spotted out with friends in LA earlier this week after returning from the Toronto International Film Festival.
