[Articles] The 5 Stages Of Break-Up Grief According To Mileys' 'Wrecking Ball' Video

Miley Cyrus' new video for "Wrecking Ball" has, like, absolutely WRECKED us. From the raw, emotional close-ups à la Sinéad O'Connor in "Nothing Compares 2 U" to the emotionally and physically exhausting scenes of destruction, the clip for Miley's Bangerz single has brought us back to all of our most excruciating past break-ups -- basically rendering us at about a "Lauren Conrad Mascara Cry" level of functionality for at least the next 17 hours.
Luckily, the Terry Richardson-directed clip contains a sort of Kübler-Ross model of visuals in it that'll help you clear even the most devastating of ended relationships. Now, let Miley take you on a healing journey from denial to acceptance -- with plenty of nakedness thrown in for good measure.

1.) DENIAL: Isn't Miley giving us 31 flavors of "Girl, Interrupted" right here? #IsItWeirdIf I just wanna jam Ms. Cyrus into my aorta??

2.) ANGER: Careful, you may fly into a rage-induced blackout, only to awake later perched naked atop of a wrecking ball in a demolished concrete room.

3.) BARGAINING: It may seem like a good idea to barter manual labor for a relaysh extension, but trust us it won't work. You'll also get sweaty and junk, so, #NuhUh.

4.) DEPRESSION: NO, STOP IT. WE DO NOT LIKE SEEING MILEY LIKE THIS.

5.) ACCEPTANCE: At the end o' the day, though, you've just gotta pick up your beans, gather your emotions, and keep on keepin' on... licking your sledgehammer. #AndSoItIs
