“She’s just bein’ Miley’ is some how not one of the plays on Miley Cyrus‘ name used by V for her new cover story. The edgy fashion magazine did, however, concoct “Go the Extra Miley” and “The Emancipation of Miley,” both of which tickled our funny bone.
It seems that Cyrus is using V as a platform to reveal (and we mean reveal) her new image–butt cheek and underboob and all. Though she does, as BuzzFeed pointed out, look like a pilates instructor on the cover, the inside pages see her styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele in an extreme version of the punk-inspired look she’s been favoring lately, just in time for that Met exhibit.
Of her style transformation, she says:
I’m going to change, I’m going to be different, I’m going to do what I want to do. I chopped my hair and bought a pair of Docs and never looked back.
She’s just bein’ (punk) Miley!
In one look, she pairs a backwards leather motorcycle jacket with some sort of studded dog collar-like contraption and a pair of butt cheek-revealing leather shorts. In another, she wears a shirt that says “Miley” on the chest, rolled up to reveal just a little underboob. And then, there’s some butt crack.
