We may STILL be reeling off of Miley Cyrus’ TWO ELLE UK covers, but the platinum pixie-headed girl isn’t stopping there on her quest to plaster her mug all over your newsstands. Hot on the heels of the ELLE UK release, V Magazine has revealed Billy Ray’s little girl as their Summer 2013 cover girl. Not once, not even twice, but THREE. TIMES. *wipes sweat from upper lip* PHEW!
And these aren’t your run-of-the-mill alternate covers—you know the kinds with no more difference than the tilt of a head or a quick lighting fix—Miley sports a different outfit, accessories, AND HAIR COLOR in every glossy front. One moment, she’s windswept in an immaculate white blazer (no bra), black men’s briefs with white contrast piping, and nearly knee-high riding boots. The next, she’s matching a VIBRANT orange mane to an equally neon weekender duffle with her name strewn across in black duct tape. She may also be completely shirtless; it’s hard to tell. [insert "She's just being Miley" joke here]
These colorful and punky V Magazine covers (AND risqué underboob-y inside shots) are a departure from the softer (okay, barely but still) ELLE UK looks, but it’s the striking versatility of Miley’s new look that makes it hard for us to play favorites.
