[News] Miley Cyrus storms UK iTunes chart with Wrecking Ball

Miley Cyrus has stormed the UK iTunes chart with her latest single ‘Wrecking Ball’.
The star topped the chart within 24 hours of going on sale and is currently ahead of new releases from Eminem, Conor Maynard and The Saturdays.
She is narrowly ahead of Eminem’s comeback single ‘Berzerk’, which briefly topped the store’s chart earlier today (October 6).
Maynard’s ‘R U Crazy’ – the first single from his upcoming second studio album – follows in third place and The Saturdays are currently at five with their latest offering ‘Disco Love’.
Meanwhile, current UK number one single ‘Counting Stars’ from OneRepublic has fallen to four in the wake of this week’s new releases.
Cyrus also releases her fourth LP Bangerz this week, which features her UK chart-topper ‘We Can’t Stop’ and Britney Spears collaboration ‘SMS (Bangerz)’.
She recently revealed that she has already started work on the follow-up to Bangerz as she has “so much to say”.
