[News] Miley's 'We Can't Stop' video is a total gift

Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" video is finally upon us, and if I were to take a shot for every time she shakes her bum or sticks her tongue out in it, I'd be too drunk to write this article. Still, it's a nice bum, and hidden within the tripped out, party-themed video — complete with gold teeth, dancing bears, and a pinata full of ... well ... are those hot dogs? — are a few great messages we think grown-up Miley is trying to get across. ...

+ Miley Supports Same-Sex Relationships

Miley believes that love is love, whether it's between a man and woman, a woman and a woman, or a woman and her lookalike barbie doll. But in all seriousness, Miley is a longtime supporter of LGBT rights, and even has the marriage equality equal sign tatted on one of her fingers. We bet she "Can't Stop" waiting for the Supreme Court to make a couple of controversial rulings on same-sex marriage, which should be happening any day now!

+ THIS Is The Face Miley Makes At Bullies...

Miley recently addressed Tweeters who put her down saying, "Every day someone with a Swift or Gomez in [their] name wishes terrible things upon me (death is popular). Please Smilers don't ever think somehow you are supporting me by being hateful towards other artists. My fans make me proud by supporting my music & everything I do." According to MTV's anti-bullying campaign A Thin Line, 17% of young people have been verbally abused online or via text message. It hurts enough when people don't like our Instagram pics, so just imagine how bad mean Tweets and death threats feel! We can all take control over digital bullying by being kind to others on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media sites, and politely calling out those who aren't.

+ Miley Wants Everybody To Know How To Spell "Twerk"

Miley's all about education, and recently took part in CBS’ “Real Change: Artists for Education” T.V. special. The special honored celebs' favorite childhood teachers and raised money for Adopt A Classroom — an organization that helps teachers purchase the supplies they need to help their students succeed. The average teacher spends $1,000 out of pocket on school supplies every year, but Adopt A Classroom partners classrooms with donors so that instructors can keep their hard-earned money.

Whether or not you approve of Miley's mature new image, there's no denying the pop diva's (yes, she's officially graduated from pop star to diva) positive influence on the world through her philanthropy and open-mindedness.
