Miley Cyrus has fired a series of furious tweets at US gossip blogger Perez Hilton after he published an article insinuating that she had been hanging out with Gossip Girl star Ed Weswick.
The article on Hilton’s website speculated that the pair were romantically linked: “Did the Mileybird just up and decide it was time to bounce on fiancé Liam Hemsworth??
“We mean, we JUST heard about the sweet idea of Miliam cementing their love with custom-designed wedding rings. So then… WTF is up with these pics of her and Ed Westwick!?!”
Miley, who announced her engagement to The Hunger Games actor last June, naturally denied the claims.
She took to Twitter to respond to Hilton’s directly saying: “hope you find love one day but can you not f**k with mine. I’ve never been with Ed W in my life. I was at the studio last night.”
She added: “working on my record and never left with anyone other than my assistant. What happened to your big enlightenment…what happened to your promise to spread love not lies.”
“you’re the first one to write about my engagement and my wedding and how happy u r for me and the first to try and tear my life.”
Her final tweet was simply: “hope this message finds you happy and healthy.”
Last month it was rumoured that the pair were already married but the reports were denied.
