The end of 2012 is coming ever closer. That means that is is the occasion for us to look back on the beauty evolutions that we’ve noticed over the past year– enter, Miley Cyrus. This teen star has undergone one of the most dramatic evolutions of the year!
All grown up
On 11 January 2012, during the 38th Annual People’s Choice Awards, Miley Cyrus went for an ultra-glamour look with her long, wavy locks brushed to one side. Only a month later, we spotted Miley looking retro-chic on the red carpet at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award. Miley left behind her long curls for the style that all the stars are going for: extra-volume bob.
Miley kept the bob look for a few months, but she mixed it up in different ways, going from high volume to super straight to ombre coloured!
This phase seemed to come about when Miley announced her engagement yo her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth!
And then came the punk phase…
September 2012: Miley decides to shock us all. She arrived at the Video Music Awards with a new punk hairstyle. She chopped off her locks, dyed the rest blonde and built up a little faux hawk. Her new style made us immediately think about the cut rocked by singer Pink. This provoked us to do some silly smile smackdowns between the two.
Since then…
Since going for the extreme new cut, Miley has been doing little changes to the radical style… each time we see her, it seems a bit shorter and a little bit blonder… she is more of a punk than ever!
So, what will 2013 bring for Miley and her hair? Could she get any punker? Or will she go back to the Hollywood glamour days? What do you think?
