It's always up in the air whether or not the fashion community is behind Miley Cyrus—but the Kaiser has silently spoken: Karl Lagerfeld posed on the red carpet for the Museum of Modern Art’s Film Benefit this week holding a copy of Bangerz. For the record, we're also loving Cyrus' new album, which holds the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard charts. Lagerfeld did not explain his decision to do this, but it spurred Cyrus to change her Instagram profile picture to this image. Given Lagerfeld's outspokenness (the designer even has a book devoted to his most ridiculous quotes), it makes sense he'd back the controversial teen star in revolt. Could a possible Miley-inspired fashion collab be in the works? Will Lagerfeld twerk in an upcoming Cyrus video? This picture is surely worth a thousand words and our imaginations are running wild.
