Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion, if we’re really going with that) has a lot in common with Miley Cyrus.
The rapper turned reggae artist (reinvention, y’all!) told E! News at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards just why he and Miley girl decided to collaborate on “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.”
“Miley—I’ve always been a fan of hers,” Snoop, 41, said. “And when she decided to go solo and do her thing, it was only right for us to connect.” (Miley, 20, was never in a girl group, but she was shackled to her Disney good-girl image.)
“We both believe in the same things,” Snoop continued. “She’s going through transformation and change right now, just like myself.”
Change is good. And to quote the great Hannah Montana, “You’ll always find your way back home.”
