[News] Joe Jonas: "The first time I smoked pot, I was with Miley and Demi"

In a recent interview with Vulture magazine, pop star Joe Jonas revealed memories from his Disney days and in one of them he mentioned Miley. Check out what he said below:

"The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley. I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying, “Try it! Try it!” so I gave it a shot, and it was all right. I don’t even smoke weed that often anymore. I was caught drinking when I was 16 or 17, and I thought the world was going to collapse. But I was in another country, and it was legal there. My 21st birthday, I fell down a flight of stairs. I was unconscious that time, and my whole team was scared to death that somebody was going to get a picture. Now I appreciate wine or a vodka-soda at the end of the day every once in a while."

[News] "Jingle Ball" president: "You can't do a pop-culture show without Miley onstage"

Throw her under some mistletoe, and there's no telling what Miley Cyrus might do.

That's the idea behind the pop princess' headlining slots at eight Jingle Ball shows this December, an annual holiday tradition that brings together the biggest names in top 40 radio for a star-studded night of music. What began in 1996 as a one-night concert thrown by New York's Z100 radio station (and later by Los Angeles' KIIS-FM) has now become a 12-city tour, kicking off Monday in Dallas and wrapping up Dec. 20 in Miami. A two-hour concert special airs Dec. 18 on CW (8 p.m. ET/PT).

"You can't do a pop-culture show without Miley Cyrus onstage," says Tom Poleman, president of national programming platforms for Clear Channel Media + Entertainment, who heads up the event. "If you had a big year in music, we want you on the stage, and she's one of those people that everyone wants to see."

Poleman initially reached out to Cyrus about playing Jingle Ball over the summer, just as she got the nation talking and twerking to her hit single We Can't Stop. Her provocative performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in August only confirmed that nabbing her was a top priority, along with her grinding partner (and Blurred Lines chart topper) Robin Thicke, who's playing 11 Jingle Ball shows in cities such as Boston, Chicago and Atlanta.

So can we expect to see Miley and Robin perform together? While Poleman can't confirm, he hopes that Cyrus' usual string of controversy will follow her on Jingle Ball.

"I love everything that Miley is doing, she always goes for the headlines," says Poleman. "That's what makes the show magical, that people are dying to see what (artists) like Miley are going to do next.

"(Her manager Larry Rudolph) and I are just starting to talk about what will go into the performance, and I'll just say that she won't disappoint."

[Rumors] Miley Treats Couple To A Free Meal After Being 'Too Noisy' In New York Restaurant?

Miley Cyrus may be hitting headlines across the globe because of her constant eccentric behaviour, but it seems, aside from the awards shows and the cameras, the former Hannah Montana star is really down-to-earth, with new reports claiming she paid for a couple's meal in NYC recently after she was a little too loud whilst they tried to celebrate their second wedding anniversary.

The Wrecking Ball babe was allegedly "causing a scene" when she and a friend went into an upmarket eatery in New York, but Miley made an effort to go up to the couple in the restaurant, apologise and even leave $100 to cover their bill, before posing for pics with them.

A witness explained to the National Enquirer: ''She went over and apologised and told the folks, 'I'm sorry, I've just had too much caffeine today.' Then she asked the couple about themselves.''

The report comes after a recent source also added of Miley's Saturday Night Live appearance: ''Everyone expected Miley to show up with major attitude - but were stunned when she turned out to be a major sweetheart.

''She went out of her way to be kind to everyone - just plain old nice - posing for pictures backstage and signing autographs for the crew.''

[News] Miley Cyrus' Entertainer of the Year is Pharrell Williams

Miley Cyrus had quite a year. As she told Entertainment Weekly, she planned on 2013 being the best year of her life, and she certainly lived up to that lofty goal. Cyrus is one of EW’s Entertainers of the Year, and when asked who she would pass that honor on to, she agreed with one of EW’s picks.

“I really think Pharrell [Williams] is the entertainer of the year,” Cyrus told EW. “Not only for what he did on my record but for what he did in the music industry in general with ‘Blurred Lines’ and Daft Punk.” Indeed, Williams contributed “#GETITRIGHT” to Cyrus’ album Bangerz and provided lots of guidance for her sonic reinvention.

In Williams, Cyrus found a kindred spirit. ”He and I were kind of on the same path, and I think that’s why he and I connected,” she said. “He really feels like a brother—it’s more than just us working together. No one had heard from me or him in a minute, and we were just kind of brewing up what we wanted to do next and what we wanted to drop on people. He and I were on kind of a journey together, and I couldn’t be more happy for him and what he accomplished this year in everything—in fashion, in art, everything he does. There’s not a better person I would wish that on. He’s the best person I’ve ever gotten to watch and learn from. I’ve grown up in this industry, and I’ve watched a lot of people, and I think that’s where I learned most of what I know. He’s one of the greatest mentors I’ve ever had, and who he is as a person is equally as amazing as who he is as an entertainer.”

It’s a mutual admiration society between Williams and Cyrus. Back in January, Williams talked up Bangerz to EW long before the release of the single “We Can’t Stop.” ”Miley Cyrus is gonna be amazing,” he told EW. “I’ll tell you what right now: She is a force, and no one knows it, and I’m so happy for her. This is a girl who has been fighting for a very long time and loyal to the brand that gave her her start. But she had to break out of not only that realm but also the glass image that she felt everybody was keeping her encased in. She’s going from beautiful caterpillar to giant butterfly with vigor. She’s really that. Her vocal ability is far beyond what anyone thinks. She is very knowledgeable—she can quote the last Wacka Flocka song, and she can tell you when Dolly Parton released ‘Jolene.’ She is nothing short of a phenomenon. To see her go is amazing to watch. She’s not afraid of anything.” Cyrus certainly proved him right.
