Will Miley Cyrus Attend The Met Gala? Here's What We Think She'll Wear

Dudes, we can’t stop talking about the Met Gala. I mean, ever since we heard the theme was going to be “Punk: Chaos and Couture,” we knew it was going to be a particularly special year for us at the Metropolitan Museum. So far, we’ve heard that everyone from Jennifer Lawrence to Solange Knowles to Psy (!!!) are attending the fashion world’s fanciest event, but today we got word that the QUEEN of punk might also make an appearance come Monday—Miley Cyrus! Miley Online broke the news this afternoon, and we really, REALLY hope it’s true, y’all. I mean, have you guys seen the latest issue of V Magazine? She rocked three different hair colors on the cover alone. *bows down*

Miley’s style has already taken on a punky identity (she ‘s no stranger to studded-out leather jackets and skull-print rompers), so finding an ensemble for the occasion shouldn’t be too hard. We assume she’ll sport her signature platinum pixie cut in a punk Mohawk homage (like above!), so now it’s all about finding THE perfect dress. Since a lot of designers have already claimed their celeb date, we narrowed down Miley’s choices in into three main picks. The first one is a GORGE silver metallic off-the-shoulder gown from Jean-Paul Gaultier‘s Spring/Summer 2013 haute-couture show. The choker and super dark smoky eyes give it an edgy vibe—not to mention it’s made by a designer who once sent his models down the runway in sky-high Mohawks. For the second look, we decided to pick a super glam Atelier Versace Spring/Summer 2013 pinstripe suit with KILLER gold zipper detailing and metallic shoulder pads. If any can rock the heck out of a suit, it’s Miley. If she decides to go for something a little more girly, we thought this Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2012 sheer lace dress would be PERFECT with the right studded accessories. [News] Miley Cyrus makes some noise for hearing health

Miley Cyrus rocks the cover of the May 2013 issue of ELLE UK.

The 20-year-old singer, who is currently working on her new album, recently lent her support to the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s Listen Carefully campaign to shine a spotlight on hearing health for International Noise Awareness Day (April 24).

“I live and breathe music, and can’t imagine losing the ability to hear it in its truest form,” said Miley.

“It’s so important for young people, myself included, to protect our hearing—we aren’t as invincible as we feel. If we take care of our hearing now, we’ll be able to enjoy music and all the other beautiful sounds of life for years to come.”

The Listen Carefully campaign raises awareness to the increased hearing loss in young people and works with schools to educate students about hearing health. Starkey Hearing Foundation, a member of President Clinton’s Global Initiative, uses hearing as a vehicle to reflect caring and improve the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world, by helping them reach their full potential.

Miley Does Colored Hair And Men's Underwear For Triple 'V' Magazine Covers

We may STILL be reeling off of Miley Cyrus’ TWO ELLE UK covers, but the platinum pixie-headed girl isn’t stopping there on her quest to plaster her mug all over your newsstands. Hot on the heels of the ELLE UK release, V Magazine has revealed Billy Ray’s little girl as their Summer 2013 cover girl. Not once, not even twice, but THREE. TIMES. *wipes sweat from upper lip* PHEW!

And these aren’t your run-of-the-mill alternate covers—you know the kinds with no more difference than the tilt of a head or a quick lighting fix—Miley sports a different outfit, accessories, AND HAIR COLOR in every glossy front. One moment, she’s windswept in an immaculate white blazer (no bra), black men’s briefs with white contrast piping, and nearly knee-high riding boots. The next, she’s matching a VIBRANT orange mane to an equally neon weekender duffle with her name strewn across in black duct tape. She may also be completely shirtless; it’s hard to tell. These colorful and punky V Magazine covers (AND risqué underboob-y inside shots) are a departure from the softer (okay, barely but still) ELLE UK looks, but it’s the striking versatility of Miley’s new look that makes it hard for us to play favorites.
