[News] Wiz Khalifa confirms duet with Miley Cyrus

With the newest single from his upcoming album released earlier this month, Wiz Khalifa recently sat down with Billboard to talk about Blacc Hollywood and working with artists like Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, and Charlie Wilson.
Khalifa confirmed that Pop star Miley Cyrus will feature on Blacc Hollywood and admitted to smoking “a ton of pot” with her. “There is a Miley [Cyrus] song on the album,” he said. “It might not be what everybody expects from me and Miley ‘cause we do like club records and fun stuff. So, the one I have for the album is completely left of that, but it’s crazy, it’s insane.” The pair have worked together previously on tracks like Mike Will Made It’s 2013 single “23.” “It’s cool as heck kicking it with Miley,” Wiz said, “she’s real fun. We ride Can-Am’s through Hollywood and we just chill. Everybody knows she smokes pot now, so I can say we smoke a ton of pot and we just kick it. Oh, her Dad’s cool as heck too, Billy Ray, that’s the homie. Her brother is a friend of mine, her little sister is super dope, she doesn’t smoke pot yet, but yeah.”

[Articles] Miley the movement: Staples Center edition

Concertgoers expect music, but the experience is what makes the show. Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz tour is an experience to say the least. Her show on February 22nd at the Staples Center in Los Angeles was comprised of her and 15,000 of her closest friends throwing one of the biggest parties that Hollywood can handle. There aren’t many places outside of LA that you can go and see not only the star of the show, but other stars out to support them. Katy Perry, Hillary Duff, Joel Madden, Christina Aguilera, and Harry Styles, to name a few, were present at the Staples Center, twerking along with everyone else. Guys and girls alike strutted around, sporting Bangerz tour t-shirts, foam fingers, and “Miley buns,” to hear the pop star belt out tunes from her number one album. Gay couples, straight couples, best friends, and strangers of all ages came together to see their idol give it all she had on a trippy stage. However, the set- much of which Cyrus designed herself- never took away from the audience knowing that Miley owned the show. Fans love Cyrus’ antics, but at the same time love Miley for being true to herself and to her music.

During the performance of “Adore You,” a kiss cam was in motion where Cyrus encouraged fans to “use as much tongue as they could” with the person next to them, (unless of course, Miley prefaced, it was a parent.) “I don’t know if you know this, but tongue is really appreciated at a Miley Cyrus show,” Cyrus took this time to not only belt out her ballad, but to show Katy Perry some love in the front row with a kiss.

The strangest, yet coolest moment of the evening was Miley’s collaboration with the Flaming Lips on “Yoshimi.” Cyrus related her excitement over and over again, saying, “I don’t care if we f-ck this up, I want to sing it like ten times with you.” She sang the song twice with them, not because anyone messed up, simply because she could. The rule is to expect the unexpected from Miley Cyrus.

When Cyrus said she was creating a movement, she wasn’t kidding. In two hours at a Miley Cyrus show, you can laugh, cry, and scream. At the end of it, you feel a part of something bigger- a movement. Her transformation before the public’s eye from innocent Disney robot to unfiltered free- bird doesn’t surprise her fans one bit, they embrace her, twerking and all. Her message is simple- LOVE. Love your body. Love what you do. Love one another. Most of all love life, and have as much fun as you can while playing it all out. Maybe the religious protestors outside Cyrus’ shows claim that Smilers are “going to hell,” but if they were inside the arena, they could have had a whole other kind of religious experience.

[Articles] Five reasons everyone should see the Miley Cyrus 'Bangerz' tour

As Miley Cyrus herself surely anticipated, the internet has embraced her simulating fellatio on a man in a Bill Clinton costume as the micro-scandal to help promote the start of the Bangerz Tour. I was there in Vancouver on Valentines Day, and I completely missed this bit of theater. Probably because I was in the throes of sensory overload—the kind of state one hopes for but so often finds missing from a proper arena show.
In the issue of Entertainment Weekly arriving on stands on Thursday, I wrote all about the mind-frying experience that is Miley’s new tour, and how persuasively she sells the genre-bending songs from Bangerz live. In the meantime, here are five reasons to buy a ticket, even—or especially—if you think Miley’s little better than a human meme. And they have almost nothing to do with fake Clinton fellatio.

The crowd: If you’ve got any curiosity at all about teen girls and what intrigues and excites them in popular culture in 2014, you can see thousands of them respond to Miley in real time. (There weren’t only teen girls at the show in Vancouver, but as grown man who wore khakis there, I can tell you that I was very much in the minority.) They’re entertained, rather than dully influenced, by the spectacle of the teenage id. And they get to enjoy it free from the looming eye of boys, schoolmasters, and parents. Most importantly, they’re fun—fully engaged and raring to party.

The comedy: Miley, a great Saturday Night Live host with years of lowbrow comedy training in the Disney coal mines, sends herself up better than anyone else could. She starts the show by sliding down a giant tongue, landing smartly, and giving a friendly wave, then proceeds to rain down gag props and costumes, taking every opportunity to undercut her own tawdry image. How can you not laugh when she wears a shirt covered by her own face, with her actual butt sticking out right under it?

The costumes: Marc Jacobs, Jeremy Scott, pieces inspired by the camp master Bob Mackie: More athletic than they are sexy, the designer clothes on display here could fill a runway. And yet they don’t even have a whiff of high-fashion snobbery.

The covers: She does the same mean “Jolene” you’ve seen on YouTube, plus a cover of “Hey Ya!” that sounds like OutKast mated with Fleetwood Mac. Miley’s a master interpreter.

Her real voice: Miley doesn’t indulge in a lot of banter on the tour, but it’s a trip every time she speaks. With her wonderfully weathered drawl, she sounds like an old movie star or a treasured country singer. And indeed, she’s got a healthy helping of both in her entertainer’s soul.

[News] David Blond talks Miley Cyrus: ‘She knows what she wants’

Catwoman ruled the catwalk at last night’s show by the Blonds. David Blond (one half of the designer duo) told The Post pre-show, that the looks were inspired by “Catwoman and Gotham City . . . very good-girl-gone-bad.” Models dressed in bedazzled cat-themed looks (think bodysuits with plush kittens hanging off the shoulder, or a mirrored kitty-shaped clutch) slunk down the runway in front of a crowd that included Paris Hilton, Joe Jonas (wearing a Batman printed shirt) and the original GGGB (that’s “good girl gone bad” to you), Lil’ Kim. Decked out in a body-hugging jewel-print dress, the rapper’s frock revealed her Lil’ bun in the oven.
The designer also confirmed that the Blonds have collaborated on several OTT looks for Miley Cyrus’ highly anticipated Bangerz tour, which kicks off on Valentine’s Day. David hinted, “She’s got something planned that no one would ever expect from her . . . she knows what she wants.” Life truly is better as a Blond.

[Miscellaneous] New design

Hey, guys! As you see Miley-Cyrus-World.blogspot.com has a new layout! I really loved Miley's new photoshoots with W and Vogue magazine and I decided to make a new design with these photos. What do you think about it?! Sound off in the comments below. :)

[News] Joan Jett Thinks Miley’s Antics Are ‘Absolutely Valid’

A list of who’s walking in the annual Heart Truth Red Dress runway show sounds like the setup for a corny joke: “NeNe Leakes, Joan Jett, and Lindsey Vonn walk into a bar …”  And being backstage at the show feels like you’re on a reality show involving a time machine. Many worlds collide. Ireland Baldwin and Giada de Laurentiis sit next to each other in the hairstylists’ chairs. Star Jones greets everyone like they are her subjects. People ask, “Who’s that blonde one? They all look the same.” Backstage, I encountered the legendary Joan Jett, and couldn't resist asking her what she made of Miley Cyrus.

In her recent W interview, Cyrus said:
I like that I’m associated with sexuality and the kind of punk-rock shit where we just don’t care. Like Madonna or Blondie or Joan Jett — Jett’s the one that I still get a little shaky around. She did what I did in such a crazier way. I mean, girls then weren’t supposed to wear leather pants and, like, fucking rock out. And she did.
And Jett supports Miley just being Miley. “I think she’s finding her way and trying to come out of what she started as. And I think it’s absolutely valid — you go this way and you go that way and you try to find a center. She’s being bold about it, and I admire that sort of bravery,” Jett said. “It’s tough, especially these days when you’ve got so much social media and everybody ready to take shots at you. It’s even harder to be who you are and stay strong in your beliefs. You know, I admire the fact that she is trudging forward and doing what she feels is right for her.”

In terms of personal style, Joan Jett’s hasn’t wavered much in the last 35 years. For the show she wore a sleeveless red Catherine Malandrino jumpsuit with a plunging neckline that showed off her sternum tattoo to good effect. Before she changed, she was slouching around in tight black jeans and short motorcycle boots. Does she ever want to put on anything pink and frilly?

Jett laughed and said, “No, this is about as close as I get.” Guess we'll have to wait and see if Miley is still wearing pasties and sticking her tongue out 35 years from now.

[News] Miley Cyrus Defended By Lily Allen: 'She's Got A Banging Body'

Lily Allen has spoken out in defense of Miley Cyrus, saying that she highly doubts the former Hannah Montana actress is being pressured by bigwigs to adopt a raunchy image.
The 'Air Balloon' singer argued that stars like Miley and Rihanna are in complete control over their image, and aren't being told to be sexy label executives.
Speaking to NRJ, she said: "I actually think Rihanna and Miley in particular are [being sexy] because they want to do it. I don't think someone sat in a room with Miley Cyrus and said, 'Right you're going to be sexy, stick your tongue out and wear bikinis. She wants to do that, she's got a banging body. She's worked out in the gym all the time, she wants to show it off, that's great."
Lily's 2013 comeback hit 'Hard Out Here' attacked the misogynist bosses in the recording industry who do pressure starlets to get raunchy, and re-iterated that she finds such people "offensive".
"'Hard Out Here' was a comment on the state of the music industry where women are concerned," she said. "As a woman that works in this industry, if I want to be sexy and take my clothes off, I'll do it of my own accord. It's when somebody tells you to do it that I find it offensive. If you were a record company person you'd never ask a boy to take his top off. I just don't want someone saying to me, 'You've got to lose 50 pounds or take your clothes off to sell records', because it's not true."

[Interviews] Vogue magazine interview

The youngest pop imposition? A flashy brat? A publicity junkie, who pulls out a joint of her handbag on stage, who dances provocative with Robin Thicke at the MTV Awards and who licks a sledgehammer and sits naked on a wrecking ball in the video to her global hit Wrecking Ball?
The kinds of reactions already show that Miley accomplished the most important thing in the pop-business: she knows how to make people freak out. The 21-year-old polarizes the way Madonna and Lady Gaga did before they became icons. And Miley Cyrus knows exactly what she is doing. That is not only shown with her clear self-awareness in interviews, but also her biography. She’s a full professional in the entertainment industry basically since she was born. Her dad is country-rockstar Billy Ray Cyrus and country legend Dolly Parton is her godmother. Her actual name is Destiny Hope. Miley is just the short-version of her nickname “Smiley”, which is what her family called her because she was always smiling. The knowledge how the show business works was taught to her since she was little. And she already left her first world career behind: the starring role in the Disney Channel show “Hannah Montana”, which was produced from 2006 to 2011, turned her into a global teen sensation. But with 18, 19 year Miley turned away from the clean image and decided not to waste her youth on being everybody’s darling, but find the person, she would be one day. Even if you listen to “Wrecking Ball” only once, you will realize that the young and experienced singer shows expressiveness, maturity and passion. And when you have a look at Mario Testino’s photos of her you also see a confident young woman full of vitality, who is aware of the fact that now is her time and that the fun has only just begun. And: you see a born star.

Vogue: Lately you dress – uh - revealing and changed your entire style. Why that transformation?

Miley: I don’t know why there is such a fuss about that. I got bored with my long hair, so I cut it off. I didn’t want to provoke with it, but I have changed and grew up a bit. But a lot of people copy this hairstyle now. I don’t like that, so I guess I have to change my look again because I hate it when everyone looks the same. I am more for individuality.

Vogue: Even if you scandalize with it?

Miley: Well, I am not really a normal person. My job allows me to go out how I like it. There are no taboo’s when it comes to revealing outfits and crazy hair styles. In the end I work in the entertainment industry, which is a plus for me. Just because I can unfold myself without any problems. But at the same time I am convinced that all teenagers should free themselves from the things that constrict them. That’s why I want to encourage their self-fulfilment.

Vogue: Does that mean you want to be a role model for people your age?

Miley: Why not? Especially teenagers need someone they can identify with, someone who gives the impression “you and I, we are on the same wavelength”.

Vogue: Most parents would prefer it if you still were the lovely Hannah Montana from the TV show.

Miley: It was my desire to break away from this image. I’ve had enough from the ponytail. I didn’t want to be the nice one anymore. With my haircut I kinda broke off the chains and admitted to what I am: a young woman. I needed to be brave for that decision. I can’t hide behind my hair anymore. That people can stare right in my face all the time.

Vogue: Aren’t you used to that? You’ve been in the spotlight since you were a little child.

Miley: And I loved it. Even though I had less free time than other children, I never felt overstrained and I have never been under pressure. I’m just a fighter. I have five siblings and I am the middle child, so I always wanted to get attention. That’s what helped me a lot to establish myself in the show business.

Vogue: Is that the reason you were naked on a wrecking ball?

Miley: Well, this video was like a coup for me. I don’t have to keep this pretty façade alive anymore, but I can be myself.

Vogue: Does that shock your godmother Dolly Parton?

Miley: Not at all. She always stayed true to herself. I’ve learned from her that it is impossible to be loved by everyone. No matter what I do, someone will always dislike it. That’s why it isn’t worth it to pretend to be someone else. I think everyone should do what he or she thinks is right.

Vogue: Which dreams do you want to fulfil?

Miley: Tough question. Of course the entertainment industry annoys me a lot. It’s pretty uncomfortable to be photographed by paparazzi all the time. Sometimes I think: that’s it. I will quit my career and leave the public eye. I don’t know if that is gonna happen one day. I guess I am a walking opposition that changes her mind all the time. So, we have to see what the future brings.

Vogue: Maybe a new movie?

Miley: I don’t know. I haven’t been in front of a camera in a while. I’m not a passionate actress because I don’t like to pretend to be someone I am not. Why should I become a strange character when I prefer to be the real Miley Cyrus.

Vogue: For example while singing?

Miley: Exactly. When I recorded my album “Bangerz” I was my own director. I was able to realize all my visions instead of just listening to the director at a movie set. I liked that a lot. I love to have everything under control. But that doesn’t mean I will never act again. Maybe one day I will be inspired by a role. Like I said: I’m a walking opposition.

“…Angel. Politics, for example, mean a lot to me. No wonder: my grandpa was a politician and I learned a lot from him. For example, that all people have the right to be themselves. Regardless of the consequences, of course. What makes you happy, shouldn’t harm others. That’s why my grandpa always listened to people. He weighed all the points out before he formed his own opinion about a topic. Unfortunately I am not as smart as he was. I tend to be stubborn."

Vogue: That doesn’t prevent you from stating your political opinion on Twitter.

Miley: Although we are living in the twenty-first century and although America is so proud of being a free country, a lot of crazy things happen in our society. There’s racism and discrimination. I am fighting against it. I want more tolerance especially regarding homosexuals, who should be allowed to get married, of course.

Vogue: Your commitment shows that you are very mature for a 21-year-old.

Miley: There’s still something childish in me. I will never lose this part, not even when I am an old lady. Whatever. I don’t consider birthdays as something important because they don’t turn me into a new person. I am always Miley. Please don’t ask me if I feel like an adult at the moment. I don’t have an answer to that.

Vogue: Does that mean the 'Party Miley' continues?

Miley: Like everyone else in my generation I like to party. But my life isn’t all about partying. It’s actually the opposite. I don’t need action all the time. I don’t like talking to strangers. I prefer inviting friends to my house. At home it’s like at a hotel, there is always someone sleeping over at my place otherwise I would feel lost at my huge house.

[Interview] Miley Cyrus: "My Bangerz Tour Is Educational for Kids"

The best thing about Miley Cyrus' sister Brandi Cyrus being a correspondent for Fuse News is that we get juicy details the "Adore You" singer wouldn't normally share. For instance, did you know Miley's Bangerz Tour is all about educating the kids?

"Even though parents probably won't think this, I think my show is educational for kids," Miley tells Brandi. "They're going to be exposed to art most people don’t know about. People are taught to look at things so black and white, especially in small towns. I'm excited to take this tour to places where [art] like this wouldn’t be accepted, where kids wouldn’t learn about this different kind of art."

Miley also tells Fuse News her tour takes inspiration from her recent MTV Unplugged duet partner: "I want to make things look high-end, like something you would see on Madonna's tour, but make it feel a lot more young."

For Miley's full interview with her sister Brandi, watch the Fuse News clip above.

[Articles] Here's Why Miley Cyrus Should Be On The Cover Of American Vogue Instead

Miley Cyrus, deep in Marilyn Monroe mode, is on the cover of Germany's Vogue this March. With a curly, short 'do, see-through halter and cherry red lips, Miley's never looked happier. But it reminds fans of her not-so-gleeful past with Vogue — the rumors that editor-in-chief Anna Wintour had barred her from the American cover after her scandalous VMAs performance in August.
That didn't stop the "Wrecking Ball" singer from taking her Vogue desires across the pond though, posing for Mario Testino in a very special issue. Cyrus' German Vogue spread stands out, well, because of her fully exposed chest. Sure, we've seen Miley side boob, Miley deep V, Miley everything-but nipples and even Miley camel toe (and yeah, I know you just clicked every single one of those links), but as MTV Style pointed out earlier today, full-on Miley boob was inevitable. And there's no reason why that couldn't happen at U.S. Vogue. Hello, when has high fashion ever been afraid of nudity?
Here are the reasons why Miley should land herself a shoot with the U.S. Fashion Bible:

It's Pretty Much The Only Magazine She Needs
Gotta catch 'em all! Miley's been on pretty much every magazine cover on the planet. Cosmo, Marie Claire, Glamour, Notion, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Billboard, Rolling Stone and way more. Multiple times. Help her finish her collection, Anna!

The VMAs Aren't An Excuse
According to several reports, Wintour canceled plans to put Miley on her cover in the backlash of her rather raunchy VMAs performance. But does twerking on Robin Thicke really make you unworthy of covering Vogue?

Rihanna Is Just As Provocative
Our friends at Style also reported that Rih Rih is Vogue's cover star for March. But she can be just as provoking as Miley. See her Instagram and "Pour It Up" video for proof.
And, not to stir the pot or anything, but Kim Kardashian reportedly has a Vogue cover coming up. If you're afraid of controversy, well... think about the comment section on that cover story.

Vogue Is Missing Out On Madonna-Level Iconography
After Miley's "Unplugged" mash-up with Madge, we basically think they are the same person — mostly because of the controversy they spurred in their lifetimes. They're both into reinventing themselves, they both had racy VMA performances and they each posed for scandalous photos. Madonna's been on the cover of Vogue four times... not to mention that she has a SONG with the same name.

[Videos] MTV Unplugged: Full & Uncensored

[Magazines] Miley on the cover of Vogue Germany

Just when you thought you’ve seen enough of Miley Cyrus’ nipples in her W magazine spread, her issue of Vogue Germany are equally boobtastic.
In the photos, which surfaced online this week, Cyrus is seen busting out a breast as she channels Marilyn Monroe in curly blonde hair and red lipstick. And in the shots where she is wearing clothes, the “We Can’t Stop” crooner still manages to put the nipple on blast in a see-through dress. Um, thanks.
Keeping us abreast of her many magazine appearances this month, Cyrus also tweeted some outtakes from her Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shoot, which she is seen lounging in bed with two male models (boob out, natch).

[Music] Miley Cyrus Cover Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High’

Miley Cyrus‘ cover of Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High’ has leaked online.
It was recorded as the encore of her ‘MTV Unplugged’ special but it didn’t air, since it was probably more prudent for the network to have the hour-long special close with Miley’s duet with Madonna.
It’s an interesting cover choice, that’s for sure. She hits some power notes.
Here’s the original, in case you are not familiar and only made the introduction to the English rockers due to Miley. The band’s elitist fans might not appreciate Miley having her way with the song, but we think she did a rad job. Just listen to the last few seconds of the song, where she lets it rip. That’s all the proof we need.

AMERICA’S BADDEST BAD GIRL DOESN’T CARE WHAT YOU THINK OF HER.

“She’s cool, she’s scandalous,” Kristal, an apple-cheeked 13-year-old, shouts over the din. “I like her hair,” adds Morgan, a 12-year-old standing next to her. “She’s a slut,” declares Kaylee, a sullen 14-year-old with a fading magenta dye job and a mouthful of bubble gum. “I’m here for Ariana Grande.” For all I know, she’s referring to a Microsoft Word font or a new kind of latte. This is not my scene. I am in the oppressive mayhem at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, packed on this December night for the Jingle Ball, a concert series featuring of-the-moment pop artists. Kristal and Morgan are Smilers, as Miley Cyrus diehards call themselves. Some carry a torch for Hannah Montana, the Disney Channel role that made her a star. Others favor the edgier persona introduced with her 2013 album, Bangerz. But all are fiercely devoted, waiting hours for a glimpse of Cyrus.

Onstage, the lights dim. Red sequins flash through a smoke-machine haze. Cyrus, in a spangled two-piece ensemble hiked high enough to require intensive bikini waxing, steps out. Behind her, a tall black woman sways in a Christmas tree costume that Cyrus will later overturn, pointing at the women’s rear end and impishly wagging her tongue at the audience. Next to her, a little person prances in a silver leotard with conical foam breasts. Cyrus kneels and squeezes them playfully. Eighteen thousand audience members explode into unhinged jubilation. “Oh, my God,” Kristal shrieks, near tears. “I love her!”

[Interviews] LOVE magazine

At first I wasn’t sure about Miley. A lot of people aren’t. It was tricky to borrow clothes for the shoot because she seems to divide opinion in a Marmite-esque way. Many people who I respect didn’t want to get involved. They thought there was something superficial about her – dangerous, even.
But then you meet her. And she’s the most charming, intruiging celebrity I’ve ever come across. She reminds me of a young Drew Barrymore – someone who is wiser than her years, who’s seen a lot and come out the other side (at the grand age of 21), and is about as dangerous as my rabbit. She’s extremely bright – mesmerising in fact.
To be honest, I ummed and ahhed about writing an introduction to this story. I didn’t feel like I needed to defend the decision to work with Miley as I just liked her – Marc Jacobs had told me I’d adore her – and I like Bangerz. But then there was the internet furore surrounding her supposedly dissing Beyonce in the interview that follows. She never did: Beyonce was never even mentioned. Neither she or I are very interested in dissing anyone – particularly not talented and fascinating artists like Beyonce. Life is far too short and, as Miley says in the interview: ‘I never say anything bad about anyone’.

Furthermore, she absolutely loves fashion: she looks good in it, she enjoys it. She walked into the studio wearing a Margiela see-through top, star nipple covers (seen here), skinny black vinyl trousers and heavy lace-up boots. She’s tall and lean, and wears clothes very well – in fact she should wear more of them more often. Her choice of music was weird and interesting, presumably influenced by her dad: it included Tiny Tim’s ‘Tiptoe Through the Tulips’ and ‘Ruler of My Heart’ by Irma Thomas, alongside the more predictable Lil’ Kim. She also turned up to the shoot on time, and has never taken a single phone call or replied to any texts on any occasion that I’ve worked with her – many a model might want to take note of this level of concentration and dedication. When we were photographing her for the Marc Jacobs campaign the shots were very tricky to set up, as we had several girls in the pictures and film set-type lighting. At one point David Sims thanked Miley for her patience, to which she replied: ;There’s nothing I’d rather be doing right now in the world. I’m wearing Marc Jacobs on a fake beach in a studio in LA.’ And she meant it.So here you have Miley…The perfect star today, and I’m a fan.

[Interview] Miley Talks Working With "Fearless" Madonna, Why She's Kicking Off Tour on Valentine's Day

Miley Cyrus' MTV Unplugged special that aired this week was certainly made all the more memorable when she was joined by Madonna for a mash-up of "Don't Tell Me" and "We Can't Stop."
Not to mention, a fair amount of bumpin' and grindin' between the two artists.
"She's the kind of person that you can do whatever you want once you're on the stage," Cyrus told E! News' Ken Baker. "It's fun to be onstage with someone who is fearless. You don't have to think, 'Oh, should I do this? or 'Are they not going to like that?' or 'Are their people going to be mad if I do that?'"
Cyrus added, "It's nice when you work with someone who, like myself, doesn't really have anyone that you have to answer to, so it was really good being able to do that with her."
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old pop star is busy preparing for her highly anticipated Bangerz tour, which kicks off on February 14.
"You are starting on Valentine's Day? Was that by design?" asked Baker.
"I did that on purpose," replied Cyrus. "Valentine's Day is usually one of the most depressing days of the year. I'm going to make it a really good one this year."
For both her and her fans, no doubt!

[Interview] Miley Cyrus Reveals ‘Bangerz’ Tour Secrets on ‘Good Morning America’

Miley Cyrus just got “Unplugged” on MTV with Madonna and has twerked her way to worldwide pop music fame but she’s still a country girl at heart who, at least when it comes to her restaurant choices, really is just like us.
“Cracker Barrel is my thing,” Cyrus, 21, said.  “People are like, ‘You want to go eat at a truck stop,’ and I’m like, ‘It’s not a truck stop.  It is the best place in the world.  Don’t talk about Cracker Barrel like that.’
“And because my dad is a country artist, they love anyone that’s country music, so they always give me free chicken and dumplings,” Cyrus said, referring to her dad, “Achy Breaky Heart” singer Billy Ray Cyrus.  “You can pay me in chicken and dumplings, that’s fine.
The “We Can’t Stop” singer says the chance to eat at Cracker Barrel while on the road has her the “most excited” for her highly-anticipated “Bangerz” tour kicking off on Valentine’s Day, a preview of which she gave to “Good Morning America.”
“I’ll definitely have some surprise guests,” Miley revealed exclusively to “GMA” special correspondent Cameron Mathison.  “I can’t say who, but I’ll definitely have some guests on tour.”
Whether or not Cyrus’ “Unplugged” guest star Madonna will be one of those guests on her tour is a mystery but MTV’s Best Artist of 2013 says the fact that Madonna stopped by her special on the same network was “awesome.”
She broke down a lot of walls for pop stars, for us to make things easier,” Cyrus said of the “Like a Virgin” singer.  “She was really brave so it’s cool to be with someone that kind of laid this road for all of us.
Cyrus, who became famous as “Hannah Montana” on Disney, has followed Madonna’s path of provocative performances recently, leaving tongues wagging, including her own, with sexy music videos and onstage antics like twerking and dancing with a foam finger and midgets.
She says fans should expect more of the same on her upcoming 38-city tour.
“Obviously I do like people to walk away [and go], ‘Oh my God.  I can’t believe that just happened,’” Cyrus said.  “So there’s definitely some of those moments.”
Though Cyrus has very clearly broken away from her Disney days, she says she still keeps her young fans in mind when on tour.
“A lot of my fans, you know, are young and have to work really hard to be able to come to the show,” Cyrus said.  “So I want them to know I put everything into it and, for me, it’s not about anything except music.”
When Cyrus was snubbed at this month’s Grammys, with no nominations for her “Bangerz” album,  the pop star chose instead to stay at home and play “Guitar Hero,” which she shared on Instagram.
The game, along with a good dose of TV, will keep Cyrus entertained on tour too.
“I play a lot of guitar hero when I’m on the road only because it’s 30 hour bus rides and there’s nothing else to do,” she told Mathison.  “I watch a lot of TV because I don’t get to watch TV ever.”
“I’m pretty much going to catch up on pretty much everything,” Cyrus said.  “I’m like 10 years behind on shows.  I’m just starting ‘Lost.’”
Cyrus’ North American arena tour kicks off in Vancouver on Feb. 14and ends April 24 at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island.
